Open TheBabySteps on your device → tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar → select Child Profile. From here, you can update your child's name or birthdate. The scheduling engine will immediately recalculate current week milestones and update all activity feeds.
TheBabySteps stores your data in your local iOS encrypted database. When you transfer your data to a new iPhone via Apple's standard iCloud Device Backup or Direct Device Transfer, all your completed activity records, badges, and profile configurations transfer automatically.
First, verify that notifications are enabled in your iOS device settings: open iOS Settings → TheBabySteps → Notifications and ensure "Allow Notifications" is toggled ON. Also verify that your iPhone is not in a Focus Mode (such as "Do Not Disturb" or "Sleep") that silences app alerts during your scheduled routine hours.
Yes! With Apple Family Sharing enabled, any family member can download TheBabySteps on their respective iPhone or iPad. Because the app has dedicated Dad Playbook and Mom Playbook tabs, each parent has direct access to specialized routines and bonding activities.
